Rajshri brings to its viewers its latest serial 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon’
Rajshri was one of the earliest television serial producers with the telecast of its first tele-serial ‘Paying Guest’ in 1985. It was a weekly feature on Doordarshan and went on to become one of the most loved tele-serials of that time.
Following these footsteps, Rajshri launched Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki on Sahara-One Channel in 2005 and Pyaar Ke Do Naam… Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam on STAR Plus in 2006. On 21st January 2008, Rajshri launched Main Teri Parchhain Hoon a daily soap on NDTV Imagine, which has received an overwhelming response from the audience. |

'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon’ is about a bubbly twenty one year old girl, Anchal, who meets Jaya, a mother of three kids. Anchal represents today's youth; she is carefree and a bit forgetful. On a rainy day, these two women meet; ready to travel to different destinations... but their meeting changes their plans completely. How Anchal becomes Jaya's 'parchhain' (shadow)... forms the crux of the story. |
A refreshing story, 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon’ is an emotional tale of a young girl, who follows her conscience and tries to set things right for the wrong she has unknowingly and unintentionally done to a family. |
Rajshri's Television Division crossed another milestone with the completion of more than 750 successful episodes of 'Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki’, a daily soap on Sahara-One channel, which has been on air for three years now. It continues to reign supreme as the flagship show on Sahara-One and has substantially elevated the channel's GRPs. |
'Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki’ is very close to our hearts and its success motivates us. The story is inspirational and we want our heroine (Rani's) character to be such that the family audience feels proud to emulate her. We are also very thankful for the success and love 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon’ has received from our viewers in such a short span of time." says Producer Kavita Barjatya. |
With more projects in the pipeline, Rajshri's Television Division is growing from strength to strength. |
Behind the shows… |

Barjatya. She re-launched Rajshri's Television Division with the highly successful 'Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki’ on Sahara-One followed by 'Pyaar Ke Do Naam... Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam’ on STAR Plus. The success of 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon’ on NDTV Imagine is one more feather in her cap. |
