After the mega successes of MAINE PYAR KIYA, HUM AAPKE HAIN KOUN and HUM SAATH SAATH HAIN , Rajshri joins hands once again with SaReGaMa to release the music of their forthcoming film VIVAH directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya on 26 th September 2006 . |

VIVAH will be hitting theatres on 10th November 2006. With an ensemble cast comprising of Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao, Anupam Kher, Alok Nath, Seema Biswas, Samir Soni and Lataa Saberwal, VIVAH is a love story set in the Rajshri tradition - a journey from engagement to marriage.

Vivah's music has been composed by Rajshri's old time favorite Ravindra Jain “King of Songs – Lyrics and Melody”. This is Ravindra Jain's 17th film with Rajshri. With 10 tracks tracing all the situations possible during the courtship period between a couple, the romance and the softness symbolizes a return to innocence. |

The beautiful songs shot in the exotic locales of the Uttaranchal and Delhi are situational and very much in sync with the mood and the feel of the film. "Ravindra Jainji has created a new soul to the melody, making it characteristically fresh along with an old world charm" echoes director Sooraj Barjatya. |

Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu, Sudesh Bhonsle, Babul Supriyo, Suresh Waadkar and Pamela Jain have rendered the songs. |

Mayor of Vijayawada unveils the music of Rajshri's Parinayam – the Telugu dubbed version of Vivah on 27th September |

| Parinayam's music release function was held at Fortune's Murali Park , Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) on 27th September 2006. Mayor Ms. Tadi Sakunthala graced the occasion as Chief Guest. |

| The Mayor commented, “Films made on traditional subjects and values will always hold appeal. The creative of the CD itself holds so much appeal giving it an attractive and family look.”

The Mayor also felt that the Telugu tagline "THAMBOOLALA NUNCHI TALAMBRAALA VARAKU" is especially impressive in comparison to most of the
taglines for Telugu films that are given in English, inspite of such beautiful words available in the Telugu language. |

Chairman MVR Real Estates PLtd., Muthavaraapu Venkateswara Rao concluded that all the titles of Rajshri's last three Telugu films began with the letter P - Prema Paavuraalu, Premalayam and Premanuragam which turned out to be huge hits. He conveyed his best wishes for Parinayam. |

Rajshri and SaReGaMa have had a long association of nearly fifty years. The music of Rajshri's last three blockbuster Telugu films Prema Paavuraalu, Premalayam and Premanuragam was released by SaReGaMa. The tradition continues with Parinayam which has its music released on September 27th 2006. |

The songs of Vivah written and composed by Ravindra Jain don't just come in a conventional CD and cassette format. Instead it comes in multiple packaging. The first one is a regular single CD / cassette format that is mandatory for all musical releases. The second is a special collector's edition that is a 2 CD pack. One CD carries the songs of the film, the second CD is titled “Exclusive Badhaee Ki Shehnaiyan” which has tunes by the late Ustad Bismillah Khan! For the classical music lovers, there couldn't have been a better gift.

But hold your breath for the third offer in place! In order to fight piracy, the makers have come up with a MP3 version of the music. This includes songs from Vivah and also has 40 popular Rajshri hits from the past!
