Rajshri's "Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki" bows out after a glorious 1400 episode run on Sahara One

Rajshri's "Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki" on Sahara One was launched on 30th May 2005 and has closed on a happy note. It was one of the longest running soaps in the television industry and almost 1400 episodes have been telecast in the last six years. The Barjatyas are happy producers with this achievement.

“The journey has been as memorable and fruitful as it could get. We have become like a family, which keeps growing. We have tried to give the best to our viewers and it has paid off.” says Kavita Barjatya, head of TV Division at Rajshri.

The show has given family entertainment to the viewers, with all the possible drama, romance and family values. WRWMK has depicted the reeti-rivaz, rituals and the traditional warmth in the Indian family and all of it had kept the viewers glued to the show till the end. The one face that has been constant for 5 years in the show is that of Rani, the protagonist in the serial, played by Reena Kapoor. Reena says, “One feels good that the show has done so well and I thank God for the same." Rajshri has given her various elevating shades to perform along with impeccable story telling.

The production house has so many unit members who have been with the show from day one of the shoot. There was a teary farewell on the last day of the shooting.
