`Jiyo To Aise Jiyo', is the story of a young man named Kundan, who is successful in making his life meaningful and happy with his sincere efforts and hardwork.

Ramprasad, Kundan's elder brother and also a small time farmer, sends his step brother Jagdish abroad for further studies after selling the land on which he had toiled so hard. Ramprasad always wanted his younger brother Kundan to stand on his own feet but Kundan was always busy riding his motor cycle and repairing the broken machines of his fellow villagers. During his leisure time he was always with Vidya, a village girl. In the eyes of the villagers, Kundan was a happy-go-lucky youngster, but as far as Ramprasad was concerned, Kundan was just a good-for-nothing younger brother.

After completing his studies abroad, Jagdish returns home with his newly wed bride Pinky. Ramprasad's wife, Laxmi is taken aback and unhappy with the alliance, but she obliges Pinky with all the rights a daughter-in-law deserves in the family. |

An over ambitious Pinky, in a bid to improve her husband's future, comes up with a plan to borrow money from the bank, even agreeing to mortgage their own house for that purpose. Kundan opposes the plan and is made to leave in the house. He comes down to Mumbai city in order to make a living. With his skill, honesty and hardwork, Kundan is able to achieve success on his own. |

Meanwhile, harrassed by a notorious bully named `Baanke', Vidya leaves the village and reaches Mumbai in her search for Kundan. Is Vidya able to meet Kundan? How does Ramprasad learn that his good-for-nothing brother Kundan was actually on the right path? This is what `Jiyo To Aise Jiyo' is all about. |
