At last best friends Madhu & Neelu resolved that henceforth, they would neither meet their lovers, nor would they reply to their love letters or telephone calls. They were well aware of the bitter outcome of their friend Mandakini's love marriage, which had soon ended in divorce. Both Madhu and Neelu decided to follow their parents' wishes and marry the groom of their choice. |

Madhur soon married Chandrakant and proceeded to Raniket for her honeymoon. In order to share her joy with her dearest friend Neelu, Madhu began writing to her. When she was about to mail the letter, she was amazed to find Neelu at the Post Office. Neelu too had a similar letter addressed to Madhu which Neelu had written during her honeymoon at Raniket! Both the friends exchanged letters and returned to inform the good news to their husbands. |

Little did these innocent girls realise that this exchange of letters would ruin their married life. Now onwards, they would constantly be subject to mysterious and threatening phone calls, sleepless nights etc., as a part of their daily lives. |
