Launched on 21st January 2008, 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon’ a fresh story that is extremely pertinent in today's fast paced world full of uncertainties. It is an emotional story of a young girl who follows her conscience and tries to set things right for the wrong she has unknowingly done to a family.
How many of us are ready to forget our dreams to fulfill the dreams of another?... How many of us are ready to sacrifice our identities, our personalities to become the 'parchhain' of another? 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon' shows a rare unspoken understanding between two ladies. |

The show is about a bubbly twenty one year old girl, Anchal, who meets Jaya, a mother of three kids.... and how Anchal becomes her 'parchhain' (shadow). Jaya is killed in a bus accident and Aanchal takes over the responsibility of Jaya’s three children, and in the process marries their father. 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon' traces her path as she wins the heart of Jaya’s family and her children. The show concludes with all of them living happily ever after. |

‘How a single moment can change lives’ is the message in the show, which also tries to re-define the word 'sauteli'. Generally, it rings in a negative tone, but surprisingly 'sauteli' actually means – ‘the one who comes as a friend.'
The soulful music of 'Main Teri Parchhain Hoon’ has been rendered by leading music directors Navin and Manish with heart warming lyrics by Irshaad Kamil who has given hits like Jab We Met.

Sameer Dharmadhikari, a well-known face in ad films, Hindi and Marathi movies has been loved for his sensitive portrayal of Siddharth, the male lead. Megha Gupta, a young girl from Delhi bubbling with energy has become an instant favourite with the audience for her natural and effective portrayal of Anchal. Lata Sabharwal's endearing performance as Jaya, brings warmth to the show. Aditansh, Ayushi and Krish who play the roles of Ayush, Juhi and Sachin have won the hearts of the audience with their sweet and innocent performances.
