PYAR KE GEET is a mesmerising album containing a combination of 8 power packed songs that cover a gamut of human emotions... love, surrender, sacrifice, hope and ecstasy! The songs truly exploit the versatility of the great vocalist - Shubha Mudgal, who has rendered them with flawless perfection... songs that are very diverse in composition, arrangements and musical styles. |
PYAR KE GEET has been further enriched with inputs from the hugely talented Sukhwindara Singh and the renowned sarangi exponent Ustad Sultan Khan. Sandesh Shandilya was launched as a music composer, along with lyric writers Anil Pandey and Prashant Vasl.

A very talented and enthusiastic technical team made the magic of PYAR KE GEET possible. Bhavdeep Jaipurwale arranged all the songs, enhancing their overall impact tremendously.
Salim Merchant programmed the songs, carefully balancing the Indian and western influences while ace sound engineer Rajiv Kenkre recorded, mixed and mastered all the songs. |
Inspired by the songs and concept of the album, veteran film director Lawrence DeSouza shot two lavish music videos of PYAR KE GEET. The first music video is a sensitive depiction of the pain and anguish a newly wed bride goes through while bidding farewell to her husband, an army jawan, who is leaving for the battlefield. The second video "Dholna" is his joyous and victorious homecoming. |
In a major casting coup, star couple Arbaaz and Malaika come together for the music videos of PYAR KE GEET. Both Arbaaz and Malaika put in their best efforts and came up with brilliant, effortless performances. They have been shot in Cinemascope by director Lawrence DeSouza himself and choreographed by veteran dance director Habiba Rehman. Renowned photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha shot the main photographs of PYAR KE GEET, which are a visual treat.
